The possibility for preparing Co3MnOx·nH2O and LiCo3MnOx·nH2O nanolayers by successive ionic layer deposition was examined. The resulting layers were studied by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, UV-Vis diffuse reflection spectroscopy, Fourier transmission IR spectroscopy, atomic absorption spectroscopy, ellipsometry, and X-ray powder diffraction.
