Strategic communication (SC) is the state's projection of certain important and long-term values, interests and goals into the conscience of domestic and foreign audiences. It is effectuated by means of adequate synchronization of multifaceted activities in all the domains of social life with professional communication support. It is clear that such synchronization takes place in Russia today; reflecting the dynamics of the unique national symbiosis of the old and the new, of the local and the adopted aspects of forms and methods of influencing public consciousness. In the chapter are analyzed some aspects of SC of Russia in Latin America. Special attention is given to key messages of the leadership of Russia to the countries of the region, the current practice of public diplomacy and the perception of Russia in Latin America.
