N2 - The effect of the stochastic instability of the motion of a Hamiltonian system with few degrees of freedom on chemiionization-type reactions in which the electron is ejected in a collision of a Rydberg atom with a ground-state atom was studied. The proposed diffusion model of collision-induced ionization predicts a significant increase in the reaction yield due to the stochastic processes.
