N2 - The problem of absolute stability for a certain class of nonlinear systems is investigated by means of the Lyapunov direct method. The necessary and sufficient conditions for existence of Lyapunov's functions of the special form for the systems considered are studied. The results obtained are used for the stability analysis of complex systems in critical cases. An example of the system composed from two interconnected nonlinear oscillators is considered.
