N2 - Using comparative analysis of the absorption and luminescence spectra of samples with different compositions, we studied the effect of the preparation procedure on the structure of composite CuI-AgI microcrystals formed in the gelatin matrix. The resonance character of excitation and its localization at the substrate/epitax interface were established. The most probable composition of the thermally stable photolytic centers as a function of the relative content of Cu and Ag was discussed.
