Theorems have been formulated for the chemical potential, solubility, and vapor pressure of particles corresponding to exterma on the distribution curve of a polydisperse system. More accurate forms of the Kelvin and Ostwald-Freundlich equations have been derived. The behavior of the monomer concentration when there are changes in the total concentration of surfactant has been examined for ionic and nonionic micellar systems.
