N2 - Self-induced transparency passive mode-locking in a Ti:sapphire laser containing a coherent absorber cell with Rb and Cs vapors were studied experimentally. The possibility of single-cycle pulse generation via self-induced transparency regime in lasers with ultra-short cavities were studied theoretically.
