This paper compares the saturation absorption spectra of SiF4 obtained with copropagating and counterpropagating light waves. The saturation absorption spectra of counterpropagating waves described by Ivanov et al. were used. The saturation absorption spectra of copropagating waves belonging to the same frequency range were obtained in this paper.
