N2 - The article discusses remote electronic voting (REV) as an institutionalized format of digital political communication that ensures interaction between the government and society in the context of the digital transformation of public administration. Key characteristics of REV, its historical evolution, regulatory and legal foundations, and institutional mechanisms for implementation are analyzed. Special attention is given to axiological aspects, including value orientations of democratic participation, transparency, and electoral fairness. It is concluded that the effectiveness of institutionalizing REV as a mechanism for communication between the government and society in modern Russia requires improvement of legal regulation, enhancement of information security standards, and development of tools to increase citizens’ digital trust.
