The vaporization of oxygen-containing acid salts is analyzed as a function of different factors affecting the qualitative and quantitative vapor compositions. It is shown that the character of vaporization of these salts can be predicted with a high accuracy only from the complete set of a number of criteria such as the difference between the acid base properties of oxides forming the salt, the difference in their volatilities, the position of cation- and anion-forming elements in the periodic table, and the evaporation conditions.
