Efficient planning and accommodation of wells confronts the task of detailed seismic study of the geological structure of the formation and localization of perspective objects inside it. Therefore, to reduce the risk in drilling new oil reservoirs and to limit the already explored objects requires information about the conditions of their sedimentation. In this paper describes the successful experience of applying the method of spectral decomposition and RGB mixing techniques for certain frequencies in the solution of problems highlight promising geological bodies in the wave field on the example of one of the Achimov Yamal oil fields. Application of Technology RGB-analysis allowed us to obtain a detailed picture of the distribution of promising geological bodies, which is consistent with the observed well data.
