N2 - The U-Pb system of metamorphic monazites and the Pb-Pb system of sillimanites from two zones (domains) of the Ladoga region indicate a polychronous origin for the Early Proterozoic metamorphic zoning observed at the present erosion level. The nature of the late thermal activity and possible occurrence of the earlier metamorphic stage (1.88 Ga) in the Northern domain require further investigation.
