In this paper, the question of nature, indicators, level and factors of political loyalty of the Russian youth is discussed. Data of the All-Russian research "Monitoring of Development of Youth Associations in the Russian Federation" (December 2014; November, 2015) is used. The general level of political loyalty of the Russian youth in the context of economic crisis is analyzed. Four groups of youth are distinguished that significantly differ on indicators of political loyalty (politically loyal Russian youth, supporters of the non-system opposition, people with a negative model of political identity, potential participants of protest movements). Their social and demographic characteristics, political consciousness aspects, predisposition to a certain type of political acts and real methods youth can use to solve their problems are described.
