N2 - Our theoretical model predicts, oscillations in electro-reflection spectra of wide quantum wells have to show a non-trivial behavior as a function of electric field. The oscillations which are due to the exciton center of mass quantisation are suppressed as the field increases and then reappear with an inverted phase. The reason of this effect is appearance of a linear in polariton wave vector and electric field term in the exciton energy.
