N2 - We study the appearance of in-plane Hall current in simple quantum mechanical setup—in two-layer system consisting of a ferromagnetic layer of a finite thickness and a semi-infinite ferroelectric barrier which exhibits Rashba and Dresselhaus spin–orbit coupling. We discuss origin of this new Hall effect and its dependence on model parameters.
