N2 - The similarity of key philosophical ideas expressed in the works of Andrei Platonov and F. Dostoyevsky has been shown. The man is understood by Russian writers, on the one hand, in the unity of all existence, and, on the other hand, as a creature the essence of which is the nothing. This leads to the fact that death is unavoidable essential characteristic of the human being, but it is not absolute, it is only the boundary between the different forms of eternal life. This idea of death makes it impossible to include Platonov in the tradition of Russian cosmism.
