The paper analyses Participatory budgeting policies of five post-Soviet countries (Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan) belonging to the Eurasian Economic Union. We study the practical cases of the Participatory Budgeting implementation. The study resulted in the following findings. In the EAEU countries there is significant difference in policies and practices, as well as assessment by international organizations. A low level of public involvement in the budgeting is typical for many countries of the former Soviet Union.
