The possibility of parity breaking in QCD motivated hadron models at finite baryon density and
temperature is investigated. QCD is approximated by a generalized hadron s model with two
multiplets of scalars and pseudoscalars fields. The mechanism of parity breaking is based on
interplay between condensates of lightest and heavier fields. We show that in nuclear matter of a
few normal densities and at moderate temperatures, parity breaking may be the rule rather than
an exception and its occurrence is well compatible with the existence of a stable bound state of
normal nuclear matter.
