The identification was performed of E-and Z-isomers of 1,2,3,4-tetraaryl-2-butene-1,4-diones formed at one-electron oxidation of diarylacetylenes p-MeOC6H4C≡CC6H4R-p (R = H, Cl, CN, COMe, NO2) in a system CF3COOH-CH2Cl2-PbO2.
