Dynamic gas extraction of osmium tetroxide from aqueous solutions was studied. The possibility of shortening substantially the duration of the stage of gas-extraction recovery of OsO4 by reasonable choice of temperature, flow rate of extracting gas, and sample volume was also considered. The coefficients of OsO4 distribution between the aqueous and gas phases were determined in the temperature range 20-90°C.
