The characteristics of the structural and the physico-chemical properties of zeolite crystals allow their use as dielectric matrices in which regular ensembles of clusters (or fibers) with a diameter of approximately 10 A may be stabilized from atoms of metals and nonmetals. The properties of such composite materials are determined both by the individual properties and by the collective properties of the clusters contained in them in the form of sublattices. This work investigated the optical and photoelectrical properties of an NaA-In cluster crystal which is an ensemble of eight-atom clusters of indium which form a cubic sublattice with a period of a equals 12. 31 A in the matrix of the NaA zeolite.
