N2 - Pbl2 microcrystals have been incorporated into porous glass by a low-temperature method. Exciton absorption and luminescence spectra of microcrystals have been studied, and microcrystal dimensions have been estimated from the short-wavelength shift due to size quantization. The spectra thus obtained are compared with those of bulk crystals and small clusters.
