The problem on the stability of the thin elastic circular cylindrical shell under torsion by moments applied to its faces has been considered. It has been assumed that the shell has the small shaping difference from the ideal cylindrical surface. The asymptotic dependence of the critical moment on the deviation amplitude has been defined.
