A sample of members of close-binary interacting galaxies with the known values of the maximum rotational velocities are considered. It is found that the spiral galaxies in interacting systems tend to have lower rotational velocities and smaller mass to luminosity ratios than their counterparts in the field. The Tully-Fisher relationship may be different for interacting and field galaxies.
