The aim of the investigation is to reveal the peculiarities of Tilia cordata Mill, crowns forming in the plantings of Vsevolosky nursery, situated to the north-west of St.-Petersburg. It is shown that the branches of 4-year old individuals obtained by vegetative propagation have a flat space structure resembling the scheme of the plagiotropic parents' plant branch. The individuals obtained by vegetative propagation develop acceleratively and they are very sensitive to the unfavourable conditions of the environment. Individuals, used for planting in the town have a lot of different anomaly in development of bads and twigs, which can be the cause of the abnormal forming of Tilia: cordata crowns under, urban conditions.
