The problem of equilibrical forms of an arch damper loaded by a vertical concentrated weight is considered. Non-linear theory of thin shells is used. Both symmetrical and non-symmetrical stress distributions are analysed when the sagging is fixed above a critical value. Various non-symmetrical equilibrical forms of the damper are proposed.
