S.V. Matveev introduced the concept of virtual 3-manifolds and posed a problem, whether the natural map from the set of nondegenerate virtual 3-manifolds to the set of 3-manifolds with RP2-singularities is injective. We show that this map is not injective and present an infinite family of virtual 3-manifolds corresponding to the same 3-manifold with RP2-singularities.
