Definitely critical analysis is given to the reported work: V.V. Krymsky, V.F. Balakirev // DAN 2002.V.385.N6.p.786-787. Presented there experimental data, according to the authors, indicate the possibility of atom nuclear transformation under effect of moderate electric fields below the ionization potential level. The argumentation is regarded as unconvincing and non-thorough experiment description makes it unreproducible. All references, as is noted, are made on the works of unknown authors in inferior journals.
