Some problems concerning an exact constant in the generalized Poincare inequality λ_pq = min ∥y′∥L_q|0,1|/∥y∥L_q0,1| with ȳ = ∫₀¹(t)dt = 0 are discussed. In particular, the conjecture that the extremal of this problem is symmetric is confirmed.
