This paper describes a study of imaging test objects illuminated by an incandescent lamp using a wide-aperture observational telescopic system with dynamic holographic correction for distortions of a primary mirror 300 mm in diameter. An optically addressed liquid-crystal spatial light modulator is used as a dynamic holographic corrector. The possibility of viewing an image with a resolution close to the diffraction limit in a wide spectral range is demonstrated; the magnitude of the primary mirror deformations is 2 μm.
