We consider a laminar, stratified flow for a two-phase medium in inclined pipes of variable cross-section. Unsteady flows in pipes of variable cross-section, as a rule, are carried out on the basis of quasi-stationary equations obtained by averaging the Navier-Stokes equations over the entire cross section of the pipe. Based on the results of numerical simulation of a two-phase flow in an inclined pipe, mean cross-sectional velocities of phases and average frictional stresses for each of the liquids in interaction with the pipe walls and with each other are determined.
