N2 - The aim of the study was to carefully investigate influence of Nbdoping on photoactivity of TiO 2 in concentrations up to 1 at. %.Twenty samples were synthesized and characterized by XRD,SEM, EDX, BET, Raman and DR spectroscopy. Photoactivitywas evaluated as phenol degradation rate. The main parameters: phase composition, particle size, BET areaand band gap remain the same. Nevertheless the dependence ofphotoactivity on Nb concentration indicates presence of twoexplicit maxima which is an issue for further investigations.
