More than 170 species of micromycetes were isolated from the rock substrate in different ecological conditions. The fungal communities structure on the rock surface are investigated. Comparative analysis on micromycetes diversity in litobiotic communities is given. The role of fungi in biodeterioration processes on natural and building rock is discussed.
