The paper presents a comparative analysis of various cathode-modulator structures in field emission triode configuration based on studying static differential parameters both measured experimentally and derived from modeling current-voltage characteristics in a Matlab environment. The paper also considers the features of numerical modeling when creating a digital model of a field emission electron-optical system.
