Mobile business is a successor of electronic business and is defined as exchange of goods, services and information with the help of mobile devices. In the paper we investigate potentials of wireless technology for logistics and develop criteria of suitability of logistics processes for mobile business. Furthermore, we investigate core logistics tasks and consider possible applications of mobile technology to logistics activities.
