N2 - The paper deals with the use of living organisms as biosensors for integrated assessing of the quality of their habitat. In particular, the paper considers the application of fish, shellfish, and crayfish for the water quality evaluation. By the example of a measuring system with crayfish, the features of metrological maintenance of systems with biosensors are described.
