N2 - The article analyzes the Volterra approach to describe the competition of interacting populations. They developed the competition model for interacting entities on the trophic resource. Using the statistical approach, they offer the probabilistic model to estimate competition indicators. The level of economic entity competition was analyzed for market concentration coefficient and the Herfindahl-Hirschman index, depending on the number of subjects and the heterogeneity of the subject quantitative characteristics.
