A previously proposed simple model for paramagnetism of glasses is developed. The non-linear temperature dependencies of the reciprocal paramagnetic susceptibility of glasses for systems Ga-Ge-Mn-S and Ge-Sb-Fe-Se are quantitatively described in terms of the model and information about the composition of the second coordination sphere of transitional metals is obtained. This information is compared to the glass-forming ability of the glasses.
