The Raman spectra of the electrochemically lithiated TiO2 anatase were reported. It was stated that the inserted Li atoms occupy octahedral voids, which exists within the anatase lattice. TiO2 was prepared through the conventional solgel process based on hydrolysis reaction. It was shown that the Raman scattering intensity was simulated within the bond polarizability model in the form adapted for the lattice dynamic simulations.
