The interdisciplinary approach as well as its higher form – transdisciplinary one – has received the worldwide recognition in advanced universities and business schools. A broader understanding of languages as carriers of knowledge quanta represented as so-called “boundary objects”, that are in use as a common language of communication (interlanguage) between different disciplines, allows us to consider the study of L2 as a means of increasing the effectiveness of studying other scientific disciplines. It is known for those who are skilled in the Art of cognitive neuroscience that the perception of the narrative of the external world in two languages promotes an increase in neural connections and, therefore, increases the cognitive abilities of an individual the more, the better he or she masters the L2. Besides, the fluency of the L2 opens new sources of knowledge that were closed for those who know the L1 only. In addition, this fluency in the L2 increases personal linguistic capital (P. Bourdieu) and provides its owner several advantages. According to the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis, von Hayek works, and institutional approach to languages, we can say that learning the L2 (and next Ls) should minimize transaction costs of communication, regulate thinking and behavior, reduce uncertainty, facilitate collaboration, and manage conflicts and risks. Consequently, the L2 is not only a “window” to another culture, but also a powerful stimulant of cognitive ability that is much needed by managers. ",
