The article deals the problems of human’s self-determination and self-realization during various life stages. Remuneration is described as the material result labor activity and its impact on social, economic and emotional well-being of different groups. Showed a correlation between the level of wages in different regions of Russia and the average life expectancy. The types of labor activity are allocated.
