The paper presents an overview of the results derived from application of the Ogorodnokov-Shatsova model of the Local Stellar system (LSS) rotation to the data of the HIPPARCOS catalogue.
The most probable values of the geometric parameters are found. It is proved that the pole of the LSS rotation deviates from the Galactic pole by 20-30 degrees.
The most probable values of the rotation parameters are found. It is shown that the LSS rotates in the opposite directions with respect to the Galaxy rotation.
The outer border of the LSS have been traced up to 200-300 pc. For more distant stars the Galactic rotation dominates in the proper motions.
It was found that the LSS consists not only of the OB-stars but includes the A-F stars as well. The K-M stars (nor giants neither dwarfs) are the members of the LSS.
