N2 - A specially designed program package is used for the visualization of experimental data for 2D electrohydrodynamic flows in geometrically symmetric (wire-wire) and asymmetric (wire over plane) electrode systems. The velocity and acceleration distributions in the flows are obtained. The influence of the passive electrode on the kinematic and dynamic structures of the electrodynamic flows is revealed by comparing the results obtained for both electrode systems. A recombination zone is separated and studied.
