Problem of the use of low permeable fields is not new In Russia, the first experience took place in 80th, on the case study of the Jurassic fields. Since that time, the means of oilfields development were improved, new methods and technologies, such as multistage fracking in horizontal wells, appeared. Nevertheless, the problem is still actual at present. Complexity of the development of such fields is caused by low groundwater velocity rates and necessity of the creation of high pressure gradients. In the present paper, results of the authors' research on the filtration in low-permeable terrigenous reservoirs are described; review of the current world achievements on the problem is presented. As a result, it was stated that there is a deviation from the Darcy's law in case of filtration in low-permeable reservoirs. It is caused by the high capillary pressures, intermolecular forces, and the influence of the rock tension. Basing on the numerous domestic and foreign investigations, it is stated that the rocks with gas permeability of 0,004 μm2 should be related to low-potential reservoirs.
