N2 - The nonlinear optical properties of NH4HSeO4 (AHSe) crystals have been investigated using different experimental methods, such as nonstationary photovoltaic and Raman spectroscopy. Increase of the components of the nonlinear optic susceptibility tensor have been found in the infrared region of the spectrum. An essential contribution of vibrational resonances to the nonlinear optical properties has been established.
