Results from studying the bottom sediments of proglacial Lake Ehoy, deposited by meltwaters of the Peretolchin Glacier in the Eastern Sayan Ridge, are presented. The bottom sediments formed between 1885 and 2013 are investigated with a time resolution of years and seasons by means of X-ray fluorescence with synchrotron radiation in the scanning and traditional modes (SR-XRF scanning, SR-XRF), infrared spectroscopy analysis, and the color processing of core photographs.
