For a retarded nonlinear system, this paper proposes a modification of the Lyapunov–Razumikhin method introducing a distributed integral of Lyapunov function for comparison with its current value instead of the maximum over delayed interval. The developed conditions are illustrated on different analysis problems presenting integral Halanay-type inequalities.
