Recently, there is a growing trend of expanding multilateral cooperation within the economic and geographical zones in the post-Soviet space (Customs Union, Eurasian Economic Union). In context of the regional integration, the task of ensuring the common standards for cross-border electronic interaction of the state information systems becomes urgent. This research is focused on studying the eHealth development in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The factors affecting the quality of eHealth information systems, as well as the problems and perspectives of the digital healthcare in EAEU countries in order to facilitate the Eurasian integration processes are analyzed in the paper. The analytical overview of the main institutions in eHealth domain of the EAEU member states is conducted. Such research directions as monitoring the eHealth systems development in the EAEU countries by using open data from both the EAEU countries and the European Union, the issue of common standards development in EAEU healthcare are planned on exploring in further works. Moreover, development of the effective tools of measuring the eHealth impact on the quality and effectiveness of the health services provided in EAEU countries is also the subject of future research.
