The article focuses on the main concepts of the information society (based on the works of American sociologists Daniel Bell and Alvin Toffler), the analysis of the term “Information Technology (IT)” and the importance of information and IT at the stage of transition to a new type of society. Also, this study includes the results of the youth and IT interaction: it analyzes different transformations in daily activities of the most mobile and by the same time vulnerable socio-demographic group caused by a high degree of integration and influence of Information Technology. The main idea is focused on education, work, leisure, consumer behavior and political activity. The result of this research suggests that the lifestyle of young people using IT in all spheres of their lives is significantly different compared with previous generations.
