Semiconductor systems with characteristic sizes of the order of nanometers have been extensively studied in the physics of condensed matter. Semiconductor nanocrystals embedded into vitreous matrices are promising nanoobjects in optical materials science. The possibility of forming CuCl nanocrystals with vacuum pores at the center is discussed.
